Lights in the Dark, our travel diary from the delivery
Today me have met our partner Sanabel Nour in Tripoli.
Sanabel Nour is a local NGO supporting 20,000 registered families in need. The support covers among others medical help, food packages, education and financial with specific chapters for orphans and elderly people.
Sanabel Nour provides their services since 1995 and is a registered organization since 2005. During the last two years the demand for help grew from 10,000 registered families to 20,000. This shows again the high demand for help due to the ongoing crisis in Lebanon.
Today we were planning the distribution process and had a little training for the volunteers handing out the solar lamps.
